Country Director’s Message
Over the past 9 years, Hand in Hand Eastern Africa Tanzania has proudly worked alongside communities, partners, and local stakeholders to empower women and transform lives through sustainable enterprise development. Together, we’ve equipped women with skills, knowledge, and access to markets, enabling them to build resilient businesses that strengthen families and communities.
Our journey has delivered tangible results: over 78,000 members reached, more than 47,000 enterprises created, and upwards of 69,000 jobs generated. Beyond these numbers, we have fostered confidence, leadership, and self-reliance, creating lasting change that extends far beyond the individual entrepreneur.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to scaling impact, deepening engagement, and expanding opportunities across Tanzania. Through continued collaboration and innovation, we aim to create more pathways for economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods for generations to come.
