Hand in Hand EA-TZ is a registered NGO by the Ministry of Community Development, Gender and Children with a mandate to operate within the United Republic of Tanzania and a member of the Hand in Hand global network. HIH (EA) TZ operations are designed under the model already tried in India in Tamil Nadu, which focus on Job creation as a means to poverty eradication. The overall objective of the Organization is to participate in reducing poverty among the poor Tanzanian households through enterprise and job creation in support of the country's prioritized strategies for poverty eradication. HiH (EA) TZ builds on the community- economic empowerment as the entry point to the market and will gradually incorporate the other pillars to complement each other as the program develops.
